THE QUALITY...
The Hotel Astória, built by the initiative of Father Alfredo, was the second to be inaugurated in 1948. It is a work by architect Vasco Lacerda Marques, of great dimensions and undeniable magnificence, constituting a stylised interpretation of the characteristic architecture of Beiras. It is a true reference among the hotels of the interior of the country. Besides the living-rooms (that kept their original style in spite of their modern and very good taste decoration) the complex is completed by conference rooms, games rooms (snooker, table tennis), disco, inside and outside swimming-pools, located in an idyllic garden that contrasts with the majestic severity of the landscape.
At the health centre, children till 8 years have special conditions.

We have 24 hours Reception and 83 Rooms with direct telephone, air conditioning, 39 TV and Radio stations, Restaurant, Bars, Disco, Outdoor swimming-pool and Games Rooms, Laundry. We also have 3 artificial grass Courts.
Rooms for the disabled and connecting rooms are available.
We are able to offer many packages and combinations of treatments for both hotel and outside guests. These include options for the pool and fitness, massage offers, mud-packages, beauty packages and several one day spa relaxation (Health Centre at Hotel Astória) offers.
